Audi Q3 boot size is probably one of the first things you’re considering if you’re tempted by this premium SUV.

SUV owners are often enticed by the extra space models can offer, and the Q3 is definitely spacious enough for families or those that struggle to travel light.

There are a few different Q3 models and they all have slight differences in boot space. You can also change the boot capacity by dropping the seats, making a larger loading area.

We’ll run you through all the Audi Q3 boot space options in our guide below.

The Audi Q3 boot

What can you realistically fit in the Q3’s boot?

Both the Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback have spacious boots and a roomy loading space that’s easy to stack up.

A standard wheelchair fits in comfortably with all the seats in place. Pushchairs fit easily as well, as do three medium-sized suitcases.

Folding down all the seats at the rear makes a perfect space for larger loads, so Audi Q3s can also easily be used for those flatpack furniture trips.

How does the Audi Q3’s boot size compare to rivals?

The Audi Q3 is pretty level with its rivals on boot space, though it does push slightly ahead of some models.

The standard Audi Q3 boot starts at 530 litres, which is smaller than the 540-litre boot in the BMW X1.

But with the seats pushed forward, the Q3 has 675 litres of space, beating the 591-litre Range Rover Evoque boot.

The Q3’s boot also beats the Skoda Karoq’s (which starts at 521 litres) and the Volvo XC40’s (452 litres).

How many seats are in the Audi Q3?

The Audi Q3 is a comfortable five-seater, with a spacious cabin that won’t feel cramped.

The rear is probably better suited to children or shorter passengers, as those with longer legs might feel cramped on big road trips.

There are also ISOFIX car seat points on the two outer rear seats, and on the front passenger seat.
