Popular VW T-Roc colour choices

The Volkswagen T-Roc is currently available on VW’s website with the choice of eight colours, including two-tone versions of the premium options contrasted with a black roof.

One is a standard no-cost option, but its premium colours range from £435 to £1,390, at the time of writing.

Maintaining your T-Roc's paintwork

'To keep your T-Roc looking fresh and shiny, and avoid rust forming years down the line, the first thing to do is make sure you clean it.

Once every two weeks should do the trick.'

Quality waxes or a ceramic spray will boost the sheen and protect the paint, so it looks fresher for longer.

These can easily be applied at home or can be done by a trained professional at your local car wash.

If you’re buying a used Volkswagen T-Roc from cinch, we offer our cinchShield package to protect your paint from dirt, stains and other harsh contaminants picked up from the road.

If you do get any small chips in the paint, you can get touch-up paint using your T-Roc's paint code without taking your car to a body shop for a respray.

Do certain T-Roc colours impact resale value?

Colour options have long impacted the prices of used cars. For example, red Ferraris tend to hold their value more than grey ones.

But for the T-Roc, this isn’t so much the case.

Sure, a Kings Red Premium Metallic paint job will probably make the car more appealing than a standard white one. But, pricewise it won’t change much since there aren’t any special edition colours on offer.

Which colour used T Roc should I buy?

At the end of the day, it’s your T-Roc and you can choose whatever colour you want. If Ascot Grey jumps out at you, get that. If you want a Petrol Blue car, then buy one of those.

The beauty of car colours is they can personalise a car and make it unique to you. There may be some added resale value in certain colours but that tends to be reserved for high-end supercars.

One consideration that’s worth having is ‘will the car fit my lifestyle’?

If you live in the countryside, a darker colour may be better to hide muck from muddy roads. But if you keep on top of your car care, this may not matter as much.
